This property is family-owned and operated. We developed this establishment with families in mind, as family is important to us. Therefore, we want to cater to your family and treat you like family.  Considering, Lake Providence is a small town with limited choices for stays and out door events, our goal is to provide the best, stylish, clean, yet comfortable places for hometown guests and travelers alike.

 

Our property, Vieux Carre’ at Lake Providence, is unique grounds for short term rentals, that includes the cozy, spacious main house and huge yard space with outdoor grills for your special outdoor occasions such as a picnic, or outdoor yoga.  Relax and unwind in this newly renovated, modern lake front home, with original hardwood floors.  The home invites comfort and exudes elegance. It provides plenty of natural light flowing throughout. Whether your agenda is a family reunion, wedding celebration, girls/couples weekend get-a-way, or hosting a business meeting or event, there is something accommodating for everyone.

 

What sets us apart are distinctive factors such as a large front and back yard with mature maple trees, an outdoor cooking equipment, featured sitting areas, an in-home library and quiet room, overly stocked coffee bar, convenient corner market in kitchen area for itemized purchases, a bar room, up-to-date smart TVs, and kitchen pantry/cabinets with many necessities for cooking.  The home has 4 bedrooms- King Master bedroom, Queen bedroom, full bedroom, and a twin bedroom; 3 baths, fully operational kitchen with two dining areas and breakfast nook, large front porch with spectacular lake view, and plenty of parking space. The large front yard facing the lakefront is perfect for large gatherings such as weddings, family events, business events or other occasions.

 

Special amenities include fresh hotel style towels and linen, toiletries, iron and ironing board, hair dryers, washer & dryer, phone charging station, extra covers, baby/child accommodations, well stocked sets of kitchen dishes and pots/pans, serving items for parties/dinners etc., free Wi-Fi for guests, lawn and porch rocking chairs for relaxation, and a modern surveillance system for added ease of mind.

 

We cater to your individual needs, as one of our friendly hosts is readily available to assist you with any questions, for accommodation needs, for information or just to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible.  With every stay our guests will enjoy nice goodies in our welcome bag, and we provide an FYI Vieux Booklet for all your “need to know” information. 

 

Preparing and arriving for your stay is easy, and convenient. Upon booking, a host will reach out to you personally and keep you informed. We provide convenient self-check-in and check-out without no need for face-to-face contact. Guest may arrive at their convenience as the entry doors are equipped with a digital lock box for access.  We are a pet-friendly property accommodating  certain family-oriented pets, with a pet fee associated with the stay. 

 

Here is what sets us apart (just to name a few ways):  If you are in need of a late-night snack or forget to pack an item of necessity such as personals, don’t worry, you will likely find something satisfying in our Corner Market- you grab what you need and we will charge your card; cash is welcome.  Bring the whole family! Our library is ideal for late night or early morning quiet times or reading time-may also be used as an office, study or perfect for Zoom or other small group meeting.  Ready to play after working, then don’t hesitate to grab the games such as cards, dominoes, chess, checkers, backgammon and more, to ignite some fun. The library is stocked with adult and kids’ books alike.  Our unique free coffee bar is meticulously designed with the coffee lover in mind- we stock coffee, tea, and creamers at the coffee bar.  Our back porch bar is lightly stocked with some favorites- items at the Back Porch Bar are charged if removed, opened or consumed.
